This is where Pooh and Piglet supposedly set a trap to capture a heffalump in a little hollow. The trap was set near Six Pine Trees, and it is thought that this lone pine is the last of those six trees. Pooh and Piglet never did catch the Heffalump.

Pooh looked round to see that nobody else was listening, and said in a very solemn voice:

"Piglet, I have decided something."

"What have you decided, Pooh?"

"I have decided to catch a Heffalump."

Pooh nodded his head several times as he said this, and waited for Piglet to say "How?" or "Pooh, you couldn't!" or something helpful of that sort, but Piglet said nothing. The fact was Piglet was wishing that he had thought about it first.

We would suggest visiting the Heffalump Trap at the same time as going to visit The Enchanted Place, Gill’s Lap & Roo’s Sandy Pit as they are close by.

The nearest car parks are Piglet’s Carpark and Gills Lap Carpark, you will have to pay to park in either of these carparks.
